"Nunchuk shafts are making a huge difference for me. The attack mode is back. The fun is back."

Despite trying several iron sets from top manufacturers with well-known, name-brand shafts over the last several years, I couldn't get dependable, repeatable results from 175 yds in. My iron play had become the weakest part of my game. It was frustrating. As a mid single-digit handicapper, I was unable to hit the greens when I was in scoring position. My instructor and I spent far more time working on iron shots than all other shot types combined. And then one day he suggested I try the same model head I was using but this time with a Nunchuk shaft.

Immediately, I noticed the difference in feel during the swing. It's a solid and confident feel, without unnecessary stiffness. And the results were obvious on the driving range, and verified by the launch monitor. The trajectory is just what I'm looking for: a slightly drawing shot that falls left at the top of the arc. And repeats, swing after swing, club after club.

The real test would come on the course. My 3 over par for the first round with my re-shafted irons was immensely satisfying. I felt totally in control. I could shape and control the ball flight like never before. This control allowed me to go at the pins, instead of just hoping to hit somewhere on the green, and set me up for 3 birdies from 10 feet or less. I never missed a green because of a poor iron shot. And I picked up 5 to 7 yards in distance. Not bad for the first round. I was and remain thrilled.
